How to request deletion

To request deletion of specific data while keeping your account active, email Veywell support.

What to include

  • Your account email
  • The type of data you want deleted
  • A date range or short description, if possible

Examples of data that may be deleted

  • Meal logs
  • Weight and progress logs
  • AI chat and history
  • Reminders
  • Preferences
  • User-entered health notes, if applicable

Data that may not be deleted immediately

Some records may be retained or only removed after a limited retention period where needed for legal, security, or operational reasons.

  • Legal and security logs
  • Anti-abuse records
  • Billing and transaction records
  • Required business records

Processing timeline

Data deletion requests are generally processed within 30 days after the request details are confirmed.
